As a child of the 60's, I recall the Civil Rights movement, the Vietnam protests, and Kent State. I think the youth are more apt to come together-the rest of us are too busy working two or three jobs!! But the point is well taken. I'd love to march into Washington protesting the gas prices. I'm lucky, I make a good income-because I work two jobs. In the line of work I do, folks bring their kids to me for services, but to alleviate the travel costs, I'm providing services in their town at a school because the price of gas is absolutely riduculous. This will cost me $ but at less a burden, I think than my parents. I have often pondered why we, as Americans, have tolerated this, the war, etc as long as we have without some united protest.
